PIJIP is co-hosting a week of meetings on progressive copyright reform in South Africa February 3-6, 2025. The week of meetings will include workshops on copyright and artificial intelligence at the University of Johannesburg's Mandela Institute, a workshop with lawyers representing public interest stakeholders in the upcoming litigation on the constitutionality of the Copyright Amendment Bill, a meeting of the Copyright Committee of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions, and a conference at the University of Cape Town on international and comparative copyright reform in Africa.
