Dr. Azedi's research primarily focuses on political sociology and social movements. Specifically, he has studied topics such as protest participation, populism, religious trends in the Middle East, human rights organizations, and the transition to renewable energy. His research has been published in Sociological Perspectives, Sociological Quarterly, International Sociology, the International Journal of Comparative Sociology, and Political Studies.
